GLAHR & CO. - contributor at the German-Croatian event "Bioenergy - solid biomass, biogas and biofuels" in Zagreb, Croatia
Jan Hinrich Glahr spoke about "Risk management in biomass logistics" at the German-Croatian event "Bioenergy - solid biomass, biogas and biofuels". The German-Croatian Chamber of Industry and Commerce arganised the event from 26. until 28. april 2009 within the frame of exportprogram "Renewable Energies" of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The program is in cooperation with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the German Energy-Agency (dena) and the eclareon company. More than 150 people of politics, economy and industry attended there.

17th "Windenergietage" at the Schorfheide region
On November 5 and 6 the "Windenergietage" (wind energy days) are hold the 17th time. The hotel "Döllnsee Schorfheide" near Templin has been chosen as the meeting point. GLAHR & CO. will be there again and will welcome interessted guests at the own stand.

Almost 400 Guests at the "Energietag Brandenburg 2008"
Numerous visitors participated in the 10th edition of the "Energietag Brandenburg". The conference were opened by Prof. Zimmerli (President of the BTU Cottbus). In the following Ulrich Junghans (Minister of Economics) gave a presentation about enegy strategy in 2020 and promoted the plan to fix Brandenburg's pole position in energy technology. After the debate of local energy experts the visitors enjoyed the exhibition of local energy companies. GLAHR & CO: was one of them.

GLAHR & CO. at the BTU Cottbus
The "Energietag 2008" is presented by the local organizations ETI-Brandenburg, CEBra and EWET in cooperation with the Ministery of Econimics of Brandenburg. The "Energietag 2008" takes place at the BTU Cottbus on Septembre 10th and includes an exhibition of local energy business. GLAHR & CO. welcomes interessted visitors at its stand.

Participation in Energy Symposium Cottbus
The Power Industry/ Energy Technology Network Brandenburg (EWET) organized the first Energy Symposium in Cottbus on July 7, 2008 in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Of course Glahr & Co. was present. The symposium's schedule included not only interessting lectures but also offered the possibility to get in touch with the network partners and their actual innovative projects.

GLAHR & CO. Shipping GmbH has been presented on WINDFORCE08
The wind energy industry met in Bremerhaven from June 30 to Jule 2. The "WINDFORCE08 - DIRECTION OFFSHORE" conference was organized by "Windenergie-Agentur Bremerhaven/Bremen e.V. (WAB)" and has been booked up for several months. It's patron was Sigmar Gabriel (Federal Minister of the environment). While taking a speech on logistics of wind energy Roger Heidmann took the chance to present the newly founded GLAHR & CO. Shipping company.
